The invitation to a grand ball at the Cole’s was a pleasant experience for Emma. She enjoyed being around with the handsome Frank Churchill and his wealthy friends. Emma was particularly happy to have been able to share some private moment with Mr. Churchill. Rambling on to something important, Emma keenly listened to every detail in anticipating a possible marriage proposal. Unfortunately, the conversation was disrupted leaving Emma dissatisfied.
